The String Beans were formed in 2014 by guitarists Chris Twigg and Jake Stentiford. The plan was to play a mixture of traditional gypsy jazz standards and modern rock/pop classics with a gypsy twist.

Having quickly made an impact on the Manchester acoustic scene with their first live shows, the duo has since expanded into a variety of line ups that now includes vocals, bass and drums. Known for their frantic and heavily improvised live shows mixed with intricately arranged medleys, The String Beans are guaranteed to bring an energetic and unique performance to your event or venue.
